Drive welcomes James
Drive Creative Studio would like to officially announce the appointment of our newest team member, James Dudley (aka Jimmy Duds). The eagle-eyed amongst you may recognise him from our recent blog article about our day out kayaking on the Exe.
James has just completed a Graphic Communication and Typography degree at Plymouth University with First-Class Honours and has joined us as a full time Junior Designer.
We had a lot of applicants for the role and saw some very talented designers, but James impressed us with his mature and intellectual approach to design theory, ideas and love for vintage type.
Although James is still the baby of the studio he has a few more years experience behind him than the average graduate. With his background in fine arts and product development he is adept at viewing projects with a systematic, logical yet creative mindset.
Thrown in at the deep end, James says we’ve kept him so busy that he’s had to give up writing his Pub Toilet hand-dryer review blog… which he admits is probably a good thing.
Combined with a strong work ethic, we think he’s just the right type of ‘crazy’ to have a very productive time here at Drive.
Welcome to the team!
