These short and informative educational animations are a selection from a series commissioned by the Met Office and won Gold in the 44th Creativity International Media and Interactive Design Awards and Silver in the Cream Midland Awards.
Working closely with the Met Office Marketing Communications team, we began each animation by dissecting the core messages, producing storyboards and developing the script. With a young audience in mind, complexity needed to be kept to a minimum and the delivery of information at a suitable and engaging pace. Exported stills would also be used on education learning sheets.
Animation, narration and bespoke backing track were produced by Drive and with added sound fx the videos were complete.
