‘Together we can turn tides’ is a book that is published as a manifesto for change, to save the planet’s oceans and subsequently ourselves. The author Jeroen van de Waal is a public speaker on ocean ecosystem conservation and the founder of Orca Scuba, a diving school located in Singapore.

As part of a project to promote awareness about the state of humankind’s treatment of our planet, Drive produced a series of graphic illustrations to represent the chapters within the manifesto and also produced a thought-provoking and emotive animated video to bring to light some of the core themes within ‘Together we can turn tides’ – such as ocean pollution, marine habitat destruction, and mammal eradication. This powerful animation is being used to educate and inspire future generations about making positive changes in our behaviour.

The book was launched at S.E.A. Aquarium in Singapore at Resort World Sentosa, while the animation won a Silver Award at the Drum Cream Awards 2017 and has been shared by Greenpeace and Marine Conservation Society online.
