Animation world premiere at Met Office HQ
Last Thursday saw the Met Office open its doors for an exclusive ‘world premiere’ private screening of the educational weather animations produced here at Drive Creative Studios.
The 16-minute show reel was a back-to-back collection of the 20 short and informative sequences that covered topics of thunder, rainbows, snow, sleet and hail, weather types, wind direction and air pressure – with complex science reduced to simple explanations, clever narratives and quirky comedy.
Amidst the popcorn, cake and drinks in the packed theatre room the laughs all came in the right places and hopefully everyone was a little wiser as to exactly what causes an upside down rainbow and how heavy a bottle of air is.
Our thanks to the Communications team for organising the event and being a pleasure to work with.
