Drive Creative Studio win gold award!
Drive wins Gold in the 44th Creativity International Media and Interactive Design Awards.
Submitted into the Film & Video – Demo or Presentation category, we took home Gold for our series of informative educational weather animations produced for the Met Office, seeing off creative competition from around the globe. The Creativity International Awards jury, consisting of digital and media experts from the USA, Sweden, Romania, and Australia, conducted their judging online over a twenty one-day period, viewing and scoring every entry within their medium to ensure that all the work was judged equally.
Working closely with the Met Office Marketing Communications team, we began each animation by dissecting the core messages, producing storyboards and developing the script. With a young audience in mind, complexity needed to be kept to a minimum and the delivery of information at a suitable and engaging pace. Illustration, animation, narration, and backing track were all produced in-house at Drive.
