Drive’s 2023 eco Christmas card

With printed greetings cards becoming almost taboo due to environmental consideration, for this year’s Drive Christmas card, we challenged ourselves to design one with a focus on minimal environmental impact but maximum creativity.

As our only piece of printed marketing this year, with the aim of thanking our clients and putting a smile on faces, we set our minds to work.

The result was a z-folded A6 card, with die-cut show-through areas that form three festive characters as you open the accordion; Father Christmas, a snowman and Rudolf.

Sent in eco-friendly envelopes, the card was printed on 100% recycled and FSC certified stock, and single-side printed with one vegetable-based ink. The negative space in the cutout shapes effectively build the different features of each character, deconstructing as you unfold the card.

To finish it off, each one was hand-folded by the Drive elves in our studio!
