In 2021, prestigious British lawnmower manufacturer ATCO celebrated its centenary. To mark the occasion, as well as a themed annual product brochure, printed marketing collateral and advertising, Drive produced a suite of commemorative memorabilia focussing on the company’s impressive 100-year heritage, which stretches back to 1921.

A centenary logo was created as the suite’s centrepiece, which formed a limited edition enamel pin badge, as well as a focal element across design materials. We also produced commemorative items such as a 1920s-inspired travel sweet tin and a limited-run set of vintage-style postcards.

A collection of ATCO ‘Through the Decades’ illustrations was produced, some as bespoke commissions, each one representing a decade since the company was founded. Together, these form a valuable visual record of ATCO’s products and the spirit of the era in which they were introduced.

The ATCO Times continues our 1920s homage in the form of a newspaper specially designed with the decade’s aesthetic. Stories celebrating 1921 and ATCO’s history are accompanied by a wide selection of beautiful ATCO photography and advertising, all bound together in a special newspaper format.

Finally, Drive used the ‘Through the Decades’ theme to produce an 8-minute video for online promotion and viewing at dealerships. Visiting ATCO landmark events during each decade, it creates a compelling, accessible journey through the 100-year story of this remarkable company.
