Rowcroft Hospice were keen to take the South West’s biggest night walk up a notch in 2014, by bringing a taste of Rio to their seasonal charity fund-raising event. Working with the event’s established fabric-textured visual style and their mascot ‘Barbara the Sheep’ our goal was to instil the energy and liveliness of Mardi Gras in to the promotional campaign materials.
The new colourful imagery and Barbara illustrations were used in print and online across the Sleep Walk website, social media, press adverts, posters, Adshels, 48 sheets, banners, sponsorship forms, fund-raising booklet, route map, t-shirts and more.
The result? The Sleep Walk 2014 sold out in record time (within a month), with a further 500 places released to cope with the demand – making it the most popular Sleep Walk to date.
