Social Media promotional campaign for Helly Hansen
At the beginning of 2014, we were approached by Helly Hansen to help them maximise the exposure of their Beauty and the Beast marathon within the trail running community. We designed an integrated online campaign that included six months of social media updates, infographics, competitions, and interactive Facebook apps.
The event was covered in Channel 4’s Triathlon & Endurance Events series.
The results from the campaign saw a 130% increase in Facebook likes, a 100% increase in followers on Twitter and lots of traffic directed to the official event site. Several key posts had exposure of between 25,000 and 90,000 highly targeted people and we had above average engagement on key image posts including the infographic that contained key facts about the event.
The Beauty and the Beast trail marathon was well attended with the general feedback being that it is definitely as tough as it looks!
